When we discuss principles of the gospel, we usually focus on what each principle is or what is does. However, this gives us only a partial view or understanding. The authors state, “We can often come to a clearer understanding by looking at something from a different point of view”—namely, by examining a topic for what it is not, as well as for what it is.
