The Way to Perfection by Joseph Fielding Smith

The Way to Perfection by Joseph Fielding Smith   365 pages
“Be ye therefore perfect” was the admonition of the Savior in his Sermon on the Mount.  With this charge in mind the author of this book has prepared an easily understood and highly readable outline of gospel principles designed to help individual achieve this perfection.
For more than three decades this book has been a favorite gospel study of the Latter-day Saints.  It bears out the unchanging nature of the saving principles revealed in the Holy Scriptures which are the same today as they have been “through all generations since the beginning of time.”
Writes the author: “Yet it is a fact, as every Latter-day Saint can say, that these principles which never change are in another sense always new….Old and familiar subjects may be dressed in new clothes; they need not always be presented in the self-dame way; and it is always the application of gospel truths in human lives which gives them their vital significance.”
The reader will be delighted with the manner in which the author has dressed the gospel principles in “new clothes.”
