Revelation is one of the vital forces within The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and is the means by which God communicates with man and by which the Lord Jesus Christ guides his church and its members. Current revelation is perhaps the primary characteristic that distinguishes the Church from other Christian churches.
Revelation is not only responsible for all the books of scripture, but also provides a witness to all things divine. Our testimonies, our faith, our knowledge of the gospel, our righteous decisions and attributes are closely related to it.
