Eternal Pursuit—The Mormon Trivia Book By Jay A. Parry 195 pages
Open this book and you’re ready to begin an “eternal pursuit” that’s both challenging and entertaining. You can start the journey by yourself or with teams of people. Either way, you’ll enjoy the trip.
Eternal Pursuit is divided into six categories: Old Testament, New Testament, Book of Mormon, Church History, People, and Arts and Entertainment. For player convenience, the questions are on the left-hand page in each case and the answers on the facing page. And just for younger or less experienced players, each category contains about fifty less difficult questions. In Eternal Pursuit no one is left out.
The book can be used in a number of ways. Test yourself as your read it on your own, covering the answers with a sheet of paper. Make up a game with friends or family, taking turns asking each other questions. Get out your trivia board games and draw questions from Eternal Pursuit. Use it as a teaching tool in classes and during family home evening. Try playing it in the car while making family trips. The possibilities are numerous.
While this book is lots of fun, there’s more to it than that. That’s because even though it is a “trivia” book, much of what you’ll learn from it will not be trivial at all.
